Signal Peptide Prediction

Tool Overview
This page integrates two signal peptide prediction models: SignalP 6.0 and USPNet. Both models run as background jobs. After submission, the page redirects to a job status view and refreshes automatically until prediction is complete.

Model Description
  • SignalP6: predicts N-terminal signal peptides and cleavage sites.
  • USPNet: predicts signal peptides directly from raw FASTA sequences.
Parameter Description
  • Model: choose either SignalP6 or USPNet.
  • Organism group: only applies to SignalP6. Choose eukarya for eukaryotic proteins. The default option other is suitable for non-eukaryotic or unknown sequences.
